David is an Exploration & Future Sensing Fellow at Omidyar Network. He is part of a strategic foresight unit that investigates and incubates emerging areas for investment with an eye towards expanding who drives the future.

Prior to joining Omidyar Network, David was Head of Business Innovation at Propper Daley, an impact consultancy known for its work at the nexus of social change and popular culture. In this role, he managed a portfolio of strategic initiatives bringing philanthropy, business, and nonprofits together to tackle under-the-radar challenges and helped to launch the new ideas summit, A Day of Unreasonable Conversation. David previously worked as a strategist at NationBuilder, which expands access to grassroots organizing technology, and at the technology section of the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division. He is author of “Untethered: A Primer on Social Isolation.”

David holds a Ph.D. in politics (international political economy) from Princeton University and B.A. from Duke University.
